Mining Expos – Worth the Time and Money? ⏳ 💸

In 2025, I’m committing to attending several national and international mining expos to broaden my perspective and explore cutting-edge technology. Will it be worth it? Who knows—but if I uncover even one game-changing innovation, I’d call it a win.

Here’s what’s on my radar: 👇 👇

🔹 Bauma (April 7-13, Munich, Germany) – A massive show covering everything from construction to mining. I’m keen to see if smaller disruptors can shake up the OEMs and if anyone is seriously embracing recycled steel in manufacturing.

🔹 GRX25 (May 20-22, Brisbane, Australia) – A brand-new expo focused on innovation. Right in my backyard, so it’s a no-brainer to attend. Fingers crossed it becomes a staple event!

🔹 AIMEX (Sept 23-25, Adelaide, Australia) – This is the big one for us. We’ll have a stand with Valley Blades Ltd, showcasing innovative grader blade solutions. Adelaide might seem like an odd choice, but we’re hoping it draws WA mining operators.

🔹 WA Mining Conference (Oct 8-9, Perth, Australia) – TBD depending on AIMEX results. If WA operators like what we offer, we’re in. If not… we’ll rethink our strategy!

🔹 IMARC (Oct 21-23, Sydney, Australia) – More about big-picture discussions than hands-on innovation, but worth a visit. I’m not one for sitting through endless keynotes, but I’ll see if there’s value.

So, what about you? 👊

Are you attending any mining expos in 2025? Are they still relevant, or is the industry shifting to digital engagement? 🤔
